We are proud to announce our Students of the Month for March. Maya Dow and Lochlan Krupa were both chosen by the academic staff at Port Townsend High School for their outstanding excellence in "Academic Excellence”
  • Love of Learning - Pursuit of knowledge beyond pursuit of a grade.
  • Intellectual honesty.
  • Intellectual risk taking - Willingness to explore challenging ideas and take on projects that stretch their thinking.
Maya Dow, daughter of Ben and Julianne Dow, is currently a junior. Her special interest is Mock Trial. This year the team took first place in district competition and fifth in statewide competition. Maya presented the pretrial statement for the prosecution and is a witness for the defense.

Lochlan Krupa, son of Melanie Krupa and Beau Baker is also a junior. His special interest is the student lead club, Students for Sustainability. This year he is a co president, and is leading the clubs effort to establishing a ban on prolonged idling of auto motors in Port Townsend. He hopes to take this proposal to city council soon.

We know that all of the students that we recognize will go far and build the future with certainty. Congratulations to both Lochlan and Maya
